I want to do it all! I focus on writing (primarily ghost writing for blogs), editing (proofreading and copy editing), and presentation design. I also dabble in graphic design (think save-the-date cards and wedding invitations).
The rates below are a starting point for discussion. A double-spaced page is usually about 250 words.
Writing - $50 per 1,000 words
you give me a topic and/or bullet points and I make magic happen
Proofreading - $3 per double-spaced page
final check for spelling, grammar, and punctuation
includes a marked-up and final version of the document
Copy Editing - $4 per double-spaced page
in addition to proofreading basics, I will look at your style, clarity, and word choices and make recommendations
includes a marked-up and final version of the document
Substantive Editing - $7 per double-spaced page
in addition to copyediting, I will complete an in-depth look at the flow, overall style, and transitions
includes a marked-up and final version of the document
Presentation Design - $25 for up to 5 slides
based on content you provide
up to 2 revisions
includes source file: ppt, keynote, and prezi
Résumé Review - $75
includes a marked-up copy with suggestions for content and formatting of an existing resume
includes clean PDF reflecting suggested changes
can be optimized for use with Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
targeted cover letter can be added for $30
